Campbell was first admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 1990.
He built a significant practice as one of New Zealand’s few specialist Music Lawyers, before parlaying his broader intellectual property and contract negotiation skills into the highly successful music management and concert promotion company CRS. Campbell has represented and guided the careers of some of the biggest artists in NZ music history including Brooke Fraser, Scribe, Stellar*, Boh Runga, The Naked and Famous and BENEE. He also produced iconic festival events and venues like the annual Big Day Out and the Outer Fields at Western Springs.
Campbell returns to practice in 2023, advising clients on all aspects of Intellectual Property law, including rights protection, contract negotiation and deal-making.
