Margaret commenced legal practice in 1995 and has over 14 year’s litigation experience. She practices in civil litigation, employment and health and safety. She has a Master’s degree in law with honours from the University of Auckland. Margaret also teaches advocacy to new graduates at the College of Law. She advises clients on:
- General commercial disputes, land and property disputes, negligence claims against professionals and claims against estates
- Employment issues, including personal grievances, drafting employment agreements, advising employers on disciplinary matters, health and safety and redundancy issues, representing both employers and employees in Health and Safety prosecutions, mediations, the Employment Relations Authority, Human Rights Authority and the Employment Court
- Professional indemnity claims, leaky buildings and insurance disputes
- Debt recovery and insolvency/liquidations.
